Business Problem:

When the Menningcoccal B epidemic was identified, it was imperative to train the doctors in New Zealand on how to order, handle and store the new vaccine in the shortest amount of time and 
in a most efficient manner.

Naturally the web was the most efficient and certainly information could be and was, placed on
the Ministry of Health's website and all doctors were emailed to advise of it's presence. 

However, this was an essential nationwide training of 3,500 + doctors and it was imperative to know who was and who wasn't trained adequately to cope with an outbreak. 

The Aegility eLearning service enables real time of the progress of all individuals. 

Solution:

Aegility eLearning Services working with the Immunisation Advisory Centre  developed, in the shortest amount of time, a short course that covered the Meningococcal alert procedures and then upskilled NZ Doctors  on the changes to the range of Vaccine Preventable Diseases.

In additiona all the individual learning objects were structed to form an online information repository - which is now accessible to the target through the Ministry of Health's website.   (click the MOH logo to go through to their website)
